After a two-month renovation period, the Diesel store at Kurfürstendamm in Berlin opened its doors again on 14 April. This was reason enough for a rollicking housewarming party! Ten models in white painter's overalls and with mohawk hairstyle that - armed with carpet, buckets, brushes and a floor lamp - accompanied the move around the Kurfürstendamm provided the desired attention.

The junior competition Start your Fashion Business (SYFB) goes into the third round. Again, the Berlin Senate for Economics, Technology and Research calls young fashion designers in the capital to face up to a jury of experts to compete for the promotion of their business idea.

It's happening again! On the weekend of 8 to 10 June 2012, the town of Maastricht presents the international fashion event 'Fashionclash'. More than 100 young and talented designers and artists from 20 different countries showcase their fashion ideas.

Never heard of Prokö? Quite Probable. Until now, the young Spanish jewellery brand is distributed by privately organized sales, information spread via word of mouth. Well, until now. The brand makes its first trip to Paris this week-end to win over the informed French crowd its first Vente Privée this saturday, 17th of march.

Dutch jeans label G-Star Raw has grown rapidly over the last few years with new store openings in the world's biggest metropolises – from Tokyo to New York, Sydney and Los Angeles. And on Tuesday another location was added to the list: the world's largest G-Star flagship store covering an area of 528 square metres in Hong Kong.

'This is not a fashion film' is the title of the film short being broadcast at London Fashion Week in the Canon Cinema in Somerset House between 9am and 1pm. Direction, script and production was all done by the film aficionados Adam and Tree Carr from the East London film/radio/event factory 'Today is boring' for the fashion label David David, also based in London.

Creative and full of elegance – that's how fashion label Custo Barcelona presented itself to the VIPs at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York recently. The Spanish label is renowned for its surprising combinations, extravagant tailoring and vibrant colours. And Custo Dalmau let his creativity run wild this year too.
